anyone with those two operators have any "vibes" of how this feels?

From the outside it looks like a good thing...also not surprised.

Jake leaves to visit The Phillipines for a few weeks and is coming back to a surprise M&A.

Allegiant tried MSP and took off after Delta squashed them. Maybe 2nd time around will be better. Unless i need SWA for some odd reason i stay away from Terminal 2.

How is SWAs assigned seating working out? A few of their cabin crew I talked to once were highly welcoming it.

How do you parse outstation basing with a single hub carrier?
You gut the airline, take the 737s and the type rated pilots, then have some gates at MSP with MX and other facilities. Tho with Spirit dropping out of MSP and Frontier being an operational mess all the time, MSP is a good place for sunbird and gambling flying.

Allegiant served St. Cloud and Duluth for years, my relatives have actually mostly flown on them to Arizona or Vegas. Not an unknown brand in that region, and I have found Allegiant to be much better than modern Frontier this decade.
