Allegiant Pilots

I am looking for Allegiant Pilot who's brains I can pick. I am a Riddle student and have decided to write my term paper on Allegiant. I have a few questions I would like to ask you. Please PM me so I can keep names and points of view private. Thanks!

What do you want to know?

They fly paid for MD80somethingorothers

They're in their bed 5 nights a week

And you can find their payscale on APC.

A term paper about the failures of Skybus would be a lot more interesting. Being based out of Columbus OH which has been a black hole for airlines based there might have had something to do with it.

Yeah but anyone can write about a failed airline. They are a dime a dozen! It's the successful ones that are interesting.

Thats kinda what I'm going for. Allegiant is one of the few airlines that is turning a profit. I am looking for pilots to find out what their benefits package, QOL, schedule, etc. are. My planned approach is current financials, good thing they are doing (to save money) and their current or potential problems. Any real input is greatly appreciated.

There is only one Allegiant pilot on JC that I know of. I dont see him chime in often on Allegient related threads. As far as how they are hiring from what I understand new hires go into a pool until they can organize a class date. My contact there doesn't know how many they are hiring. Most get based at either LAS or SFB.
Allegiant doesnt fly daily in order to budget their fuel. The QOL in Vegas is debatable. If your single it can be good, however I would not raise a family here. Living here really depends on your QOL requirements :D. Personally I hate this town and cannot wait until I find work elsewhere so I can move.

Or the fact that they got rid of OAK, BUR, and SAN, some of the only actual cities they flew to(none of that "Vancouver/Seattle" is really Bellingham, WA stuff) in favor of having more flights out of their GSO hub to places with populations that could also be room temperatures.

Then again, everything about that airline was laugh out loud funny.

Come on guys, he's looking for an Allegiant pilot to speak to. We have a number on board that he can get into contact with.

Either you're who he's looking for or you're not. If you're not, remember why we're all here either help the guy or go play in the Lav if you're bored.
