I hope Allegiant gets their proverbial crap together on the maintenance front. I think the exposé that came out was a real "come to Jesus" moment for management over there, to the betterment of everyone who goes near those airplanes.
I wouldn't be too quick to bad rap anyone who leaves Allegiant. There are many factors at play that you don't know. Some leave for entirely personal reasons unrelated to the company. Some people leave because, well, Las Vegas (you either love it or you hate it... Pretty much no in-between). In my time there I found it amusing that most people I talked to pretty much fell into two categories: Ones who were born there and were looking to leave and those that came there from somewhere else. Las Vegas seems to be a "1 generation town". I personally couldn't wait to get the hell out of there. IMHO Vegas is a great place, in small, measured doses.
