Airnet SICs

mikecweb, by lack of qualified prop pic's do you mean people that don't meet the 135 minimums or people that go to training and don't meet the standards?
 
He means the physical number of people who work here who can fly a prop by themselves. (i.e., applied, got hired, passed training, have 135 mins, and are flying the line).

We don't have enough of them.

The sim is kinda kicking my @$$ right now. It's fine until I have to look for something on an approach chart...then I look back up and I'm in a graveyard spiral out of 2000'.:crazy::crazy:

Having never used NACO charts before, I think I just need to get used to 'em. I keep looking to the briefing strip for my information and all I get is "Rickenbacker Tower".:p

FWIW, If anyone is considering going to Airnet as an SIC or as a PIC, I'd recommend it. So far I really like it. It's definitely a different way of flying but the atmosphere around LCK seems to be a good one. Sure, you've got people that bitch but you'd have that anywhere. Good place to be and good time to be getting in as far as I can tell. :yup:

I will be this week (in the kitchen). I'm supposed to be in the sim at 2am, but we've got one less now so I'll be doing 2 sessions every other night. Don't know what's going on.

What are you pissed about? Last time I checked the BoSox came back from dead against my Tribe and then beat the Rocks...you should be on cloud 9! You a pats fan too?

1st Definetly not a pats fan.
Not really pissed off about anything but people tell me that I always look pissed off. Except when MNixon is in the room. Then i really am pissed.
Besides all that, you'll discover the only crappy part of your night is when you have to pass through Rick.

Every 2 weeks.
I have no knowledge of a list of bases just for SICs.
Basically anything that flys a Baron is open game.
CPS, BDL, TEB, BHM, LCK, and PHL to name a few.
 
I was hanging out in "ops" tonight during the "meet" and there was an SIC trying to get into a higher time run....finding out what's available anyway. BHM came up, I think.

Other than that little gem of a story, I won't be much help because I just got done having a little CFIT problem tonight in the sim :sitaware:
! I'm still trying to figure out why I didn't just troubleshoot and why I had to get on the ground asap....I guess the positive was that it worked.:sarcasm:

Sorry I missed you, Mike. If you're coming through again sometime in the next 2-3 weeks...............I'll be here.
