Those tips are true for any application/resume. I had one that listed an AS degree and said Masters to completed on 12/09, but they had no Bachelor's degree listed. Weird stuff like that always jumps out at me.
 
3. What you type is exactly what the airline sees. They don't clean up the data for you because the employer is judging your attention to detail by what (and how) you enter the required data.

I hate having to import my resume into airlineapps. The formating gets all screwed up and I end up spending an hour trying to make it look presentable.

If anyone knows a way to preserve the tabs and spaces, please let me know.
