How do you think the airline industry would be if there were more Jim Sinegal type CEO's and managers?

Does his style only work in the retail market or do you think it could work also in the airline service market?

Yeah, wouldn't that be great! Imagine, a CEO sharing the wealth. In return, happy employees, high productivity and profits........He says that the has no plans of retiring. For Costco employees, I hope that he doesn't.

That's due to the LUV management theory that employees are assets to be maximized.

The average airline exec in this country regards employees as liabilities to be minimized.

Is it any wonder they're consistently in the black?

Kirkland Airways, now that would be cool. They could bring the cart down the aisle offering a $1.50 hot dog and drink. A buck extra for a churro.
