Airline new-hire parting gift ideas?

My CFI of nearly 3 years recently completed the interview process with Expressjet and will be leaving for training in Houston on monday. This guy has signed me off for 5 checkrides so I'd like to pitch in with a few other co-workers to give him a nice parting gift.

To all you current or former regional pilots out there, what's something that you wish you had or were glad you did have when you started new hire training? It doesn't necessarily have to be aviation related, I'm thinking something in the 50-100 dollar range (hey, i'm a CFI too).

Tomorrow night I am going out to celebrate the hiring and fare well to a CFI and good friend of mine who leaves this weekend for new hire training. My gift to him will be cold beers.

Get him a stripper and cash

Just get him the stripper and give the cash to her. That's where it's gonna wind up anyway.

Ahhh, for all the canned food he'll be eating in his early days as a pilot. Very Useful.

Seriously good barbeque in Houston.

Other suggestion a massage. Scheduled just before the checkride. Go in with a silly grin on his face istead of all tensed up. If you go with the stripper, after the checkride.
