Airline apps question

Ajax

¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I'm filing out my application, my total time is 1500.3 now. Airline apps asks for everything to be rounded to the nearest 1 hour, which in turn drops my total to 1493 on the application. I know I've got 1500, the 7.3 missing is a result of rounding from the various a/c I've flown. Will that be an issue and kick the app out?

I would round some of the AC you have listed up so that you hit 1500. I highly doubt an airline would care that you have 500hrs listed in a 172 but really only have 499.2. Plus during an interview they wont break your time down by aircraft like they do on Airline Apps.

I see your point, but the airlinepps says to round to the nearest 1 hr. As a result a few planes had times that were below the .5 threshold and round down resulting in a TT 7 hrs shy of 1500. When I put in my data by flight conditions it adds up perfectly to 1500, but the rounding thing is weird (I did it with logbook pro to make it as accurate as I could). I have a hard time modifying numbers to hit that 1500, anyone who looks at my logbook will see that I have 1500 TT.

The make said aircraft meet the minimum. As flymike said, on an interview they are not going to break down your time to every tenth, or even break it down by aircraft. for the most part someone looks over you log book to see if everything is there. If you're really worried about making 1500 so it matches perfectly with airlineapps then go fly for 7.3, by the time you get an interview you should have it anyways.

If you look on the instructions tab it says you can consolidate aircraft i.e. C-152/C-172/PA-28...etc. I was doing it that way too until I dove a little deeper in the instructions. Basically separate single engine/multi/turbine flight times accordingly and maybe some other unique types. Try to get your times are close as possible i.e. PIC, Dual..., but in the end just make the summary page match your logbook, otherwise you will shoot yourself in the head.

OK thanks guys. I think that in the end of the day a 7 hr rounding issue won't keep me out and as it is now the application is as accurate as I could make it.

With regard to date available, realistically I could be almost immediately, however I have no idea how the class dates and such work. I have a wedding and honeymoon in the end of Feb and first few days of March. Should I leave the date available empty and explain in person or list 3/2014

So did you or did you not make up the 7 hrs on your app? That 7 hrs will most definitely keep you out. Airline has published mins of 1500, so their filter is set for that (or possibly a higher number). Thus, 1492.5 hrs that you show will not pass their filter. As everyone else has said, your logbook has 1500 hrs, make sure your app does too. Two airline interviews here. First one only wanted me sticky note all my checkrides. That's all they checked, make sure I actually have the checkrides in my book. Second interview, they didn't even look at my logbooks.

I would imagine their hard filter is lower than 1500 considering the exceptions to the 1500TT requirement, and I had a friend who was called after applying early. That said, even though I had already published it I did got back through the analyzer portion of logbook pro which didn't round consistently, so now it does reflect 1500.

Just curious, only my private and commercial checkrides are in my paper logbook. For CFI, CFII, and CMEL, the examiners didn't sign my logbook. Obviously you've taken the check ride if you have the certificate, and PRIA checks etc..

I would think that the endorsements in the back would be plenty
