Single Engine Prop: 12/20 (Whats the difference between a warrior and an archer?

Those are pretty good scores. The test aren't exactly easy, but if you use the process of elimination you can figure out a lot of them (i.e. a Pawnee is definately NOT a helicopter).

Piper Pawnee originally an ag plane, now many are used as tow planes for glider operations.

I remember those. Not to long ago one of those was towing a banner down here at Ft. Lauderdale when the engine quit and the pilot landed on a golf course. Good thing he and the aircraft suffered no damage.

It is obvious that aircraft are used based on their locations. For example, you only see antonovs and tupelovs in the Soviet Union and surrounding countries. Airbus and Boeing are allover the world but it is not often seen by soviet airlines. Why is it that they do this? Does the Soviet Union reject to buy aircraft from foreign countries or something?
