Hire Aviation Opa Locka, Florida:<BR /><p> <strong> Employment location</strong>: <strong> HYBRID POSITION!!!</strong> The work week will be split some work days will be remote (work-from-home) and some will be worked in-office (Opa Locka, FL).</p> <p> <strong> Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li> Performing duties under FAR Part 91/135 in a safe and effective manner while holding operational control under the companys operational control system</li> <li> Fulfilling flight requests, scheduling, and assigning aircraft and crew on behalf of the companys 135 certificate while maintaining a positive and productive relationship with the companys employees, vendors, and clients</li> <li> Overall planning and execution of domestic and international flights while maintaining a high attention to detail, focus, and adaptability to our dynamic flight schedule</li> <li> Submit and manage applications for airport slots and PPRs, landing, parking, and overflight permits for all flights</li> <li> Assist in arranging catering, ground transportation, and passenger hotel arrangements when required</li> <li> Ensures that all aircraft that are assigned for use on charter flights are listed in Operations Specifications D085 and all aircraft are airworthy under the companys aircraft maintenance program</li> <li> Examines performance factors when</li> <li> Maintains accurate record of pilot flight and duty times to show compliance with the applicable sections of FAR 135</li> <li> Provides all crew members with a &quot;Flight Release in accordance with the companys operational control program</li> <li> Provides support services for crew and passengers traveling aboard company aircraft, including flight following with flight crew members</li> <li> Provides expenses related to aircraft operations to the companys accounting department with all necessary information in a timely manner</li> <li> Acts as primary contact for emergency situations</li> <li> Ensures safety and quality of all assigned duties and responsibilities by actively participating in the companys SMS program</li> <li> Maintains a close and productive relationship with flight crew personnel, maintenance personnel, and other the company personnel</li> <li> Customs/Immigration coordination: General Declarations, APIS transmissions, arrange outbound/inbound clearances and crews visas on arrival</li> <li> Ensure crew members and passengers meet all entry requirements for countries being visited</li> <li> Verify eligibility of aircraft to fly internationally</li> <li> Ensure safe and legal coordination of scheduled flights</li> </ul> <p> <strong> Qualifications:</strong></p> <ul> <li> <strong> <u> 2-5 years related FAR 135 Dispatch experience</u> </strong> and/or training</li> <li> <strong> Valid Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Aircraft Dispatcher Certificate and Business Aviation knowledge is required</strong></li> <li> Familiarity with core job competencies including but not limited to international operations, Customs/Immigration requirements, airport access coordination (landing permissions, slots, PPRs), handling services, weather trends, and ATC flow</li> <li> Ability to work in a fast paced, team oriented environment</li> <li> Strong communication (verbal and written) skills with the ability to self-motivate, handle multiple tasks, and meet deadlines</li> <li> Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel)</li> <li> Strong technical knowledge of aircraft performance, navigation, weather, and Federal Air Regulations</li> <li> Pass a background check</li> <li> Ability to read, write, and speak English</li> <li> Ability and willingness to work nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as required</li> <li> Must be a S. citizen or permanent resident</li> <li> Understand and interpret applicable regulations to ensure compliance</li> <li> Assist in arranging crew hotels, airline tickets, and transportation as required</li> <li> Monitor weather and other events with potential to impact aircraft operations</li> <li> Assist with research of flight & service deviations</li> <li> Report non-compliance observations for any potential safety, security, or quality issues</li> <li> Make rapid decisions concerning safety, regulations, and economy of operations</li> <li> Ensure an efficient and timely communication on all flight details</li> <li> Ensure all relevant teams are notified of any unforeseen situation and/or changes in international flights that may affect the flight activity</li> <li> Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers</li> </ul> <br /> <span style"font-size:8pt;"> <strong> - Duties, responsibilities and activities may change at any time with or without notice.<br /> - Hire Aviation is an Equal Opportunity Employer and Recruiting Agency.
