Airbus Nose-up at Abu Dhabi Airport

I can't recall ever seeing anything like this for a plane this size.

I think it was the captain showing the FO the airplane's attitude before having a tail strike.................
 
I remeber early in the investigation of AAL 587 they were looking into the idea that the A300 got stood on it's tail at the factory in Toulouse when a storm blew through. IIRC, it was determined that that was a different airframe(?).
 
I didn't know they repainted the house.

Happened the same week it came out of paint in GJC, summer of '08 sometime. The fuel panel started smoking when they started transferring out of the fuselage tank on descent. Was to be a quick turn in PHX and then up to Reno and most crews never took a tail stand along. With 1K of fuel in the back plus the Howards and no cargo, add a lectro tug and there you have it.
