Airbus negotiating to sell 430 A320neo planes to Indigo Partners

I saw a figure earlier that said that all of Indigo's airlines combined have less than 400 aircraft, many of which are already NEOs. I'm guessing they aren't planning to put them all at their owned carriers and probably are going to be leasing a bunch back to other companies.

F9 gets 130+ of those?

.....what's the catch?

That's what I'm thinking also. United and frontier are shoving planes in markets because they don't know what else to do right now.

Is there really enough market out there a ULCC of that size?

We are officially in an era of crazy world expansion. Dude, the old days are over. These numbers are insane. And world population growing its just going to get worse. I told my 72 year old mom and her 70 year old sister last week they lived in the best era. My dad started out as an FO on the DC-3 during the 60's. When I was growing up in the 90's and knew I wanted to get into aviation, I thought he had to go to thru the tough years of no technology. I am now in the thought process that maybe he lived in a better era where not everything was being watched by a camera or stored on a server somewhere in Russia.
