Airbus is getting rather nasty

Saw these ads in Aviation Week. I'm not quite sure what/which demographic these ads are targeted at, but they were amusing if nothing else.

Aviation Week had another even more childish AB snarks Boeing ad last month. Not terribly professional on their part or on AB's part really. Is AB really that nervous and desperate? Do they really think that those who make the decisions to buy what aircraft at the carriers would actually be swayed by such tripe? Good grief.

I'm curious where those ads were from in the OP. Sounds like airbus is trying to get passengers on board with them.

How many pax read Aviation Week and Flight? (the ads have also appeared there) Nor do pax start decide or mandate what aircraft the carriers purchase. Sounds like Airbus is just plain pathetic to me with a bad case of sour grapes.

And from all the negative press that AB has been and is receiving about these tacky ads, they aren't doing themselves any favors. If this kinda of promotion is all the Airbus has to say about their own products, they need serious help. lol What kinda p.r. strategy is this? All this does is make them look inept, arrogant, nervous, insecure, and weak. How embarrassing for them.

Airbus is set to lose its delivery lead this year for the first time in almost a decade, after Boeing overcame production delays and began delivering the Dreamliner to customers and the 747-8 and garnering more orders for those two airframes and for the 777, 737NG and the 737 Max. Sorry, but AB has never been able to successfully compete in the wide body market. Boo hoo hoo, AB. Time for them to pull up their sous-vêtements and move on.

Airbus seems jealous that both the 737 and 747 are engineering marvels that have withstood the test of time. All they need are the occasional internal upgrades, a little stretching and their good to go. Sharkletts? Really. If I was Boeing Id be all over that one. The NEO is just an A320 with Sharkletts. I think Boeing should hire the Spirit ad team.

Here was another weird ad from them also.

But their paycheck is a thing of beauty! I fly for money and QOL, not the look of my jet.

Oh trust me, I'll fly the biggest piece of crap on the planet for a paycheck and QOL that I want, but this is an A.net thread really and Airbus planes are fugly.
