Ok how about headset on a Transcon guy? You're not him, are you?
I’ll wear one across an entire ocean. “That’s my fetish!”

I'm kind of curious what you think is the active ingredient on those that isn't working. Thoughts and prayers?Nah, Sani-com is just wishful thinking as it doesn’t do jack except maybe kill weaker organisms while allowing ample space for the more hardy to multiply.
I can't understand the Chinese without them.We have some old MFers that have gone without headsets/noise cancelling for decades of flying the whale. They seem to think that hearing ATC is some sort of superpower. “I can’t believe you understood that.”
As do most people. Thing is loud.I’ll wear one across an entire ocean. “That’s my fetish!”
I might start bringing my own for that reason as well, to be honest. The ship’s sets work decently well, but as the jets age I’m sure the seals will get noisier. We have some old MFers that have gone without headsets/noise cancelling for decades of flying the whale. My current objection to them is carrying one more damn thing to work![]()
It’s a fantastic headset.I hear you. I tried to get by using the ships headset but after two trips of not having any idea what anyone was saying, especially on HF, it was time for the Pro X

You're THAT guy.All you guys taking off the headsets above FL180 in the Bus, take a decibel meter with you and take a look at the readings.

pfft. I've seen dudes "double bag it" in the 145. Ear plugs then ship set of david clamps on top.Pfft, have you been in a 737?![]()
Already have. It’s around 65-69 depending on the speed. All you guys taking off the headsets above FL180 in the Bus, take a decibel meter with you and take a look at the readings.
It's hysterical... they'll go topless all flight, never hearing anything anybody says on the radio, then go out for beers and every time, without fail, every other thing said is "what", "huh", etc. Try headsets before you're completely deaf, people. We have some old MFers that have gone without headsets/noise cancelling for decades of flying the whale. If your new employer doesn’t have dual plug headsets I’ll send you my airbus converter for free!Does anybody use an adapter for the Airbus? I currently use the DC One X with the dual plugs. But was thinking about bringing it over to the Bus.
