Hearing the contract between Delta and Air Whiskey is final just waiting the official announcement... Anyone at ZW confirm?

I have also seen them listed on DLNet.

Well that has to be a relief to my friends at Dairy Air! Anyone know if this involves fleet expansion?

Being a former AW employee I'll tell you this. Management and the higher ups keep things sealed air tight so I doubt anyone would know. I'll tap into my contacts there and find out but wouldn't be shocked if they didn't know anything.

Yeah I remember that about that place.

I heard this rumor last week. It's a fact the company is trying hiring 40 a month. No way that's for attrition. I was told by a LCA to maybe expect an announcement in the coming weeks.

9E has several -200s to give away so it wouldn't be shocking since ZW and XJT are the main -200 operators remaining. Would be really interesting if they were doing this for a loss since 9E could do it cost effectively if we could hire.

Not to start a "my regional is better than yours" fight, but Skywest is the biggest 200 operator around
Even after the scheduled 26 parkings

Great news for zw regardless of how many. Anything to keep from being cornered by parker is good.

Why would Delta want a contract with a company that's trying to add 200s when they don't want them? Unless this is a short term contract maybe?

Good company, good place to live. If you're starting out or are looking to stabilize your situation I'd seriously consider hopping on this.

It's official ! 5yrs and adding around 20 airplanes. I'm sure they will be hiring again.
