Air Whiskey?

Any Air Whiskey guys on here? If so could you PM I had a private question about something operational, nothing bad or anything, just a curiosity.

Lol, it's about the Memphis operation for Air Whiskey. Been noticing a little drama and I was wondering if there's something terribly bad about the Memphis Jetstream operation that makes things so tough on everyone ever morning (it seems). I hear things, I just wanted to hear the pilots perspective. It's nothing bad, I know every operation has those outstations (Pasco or Helena for us) where you are just jaw agape and irritated by their ways of doing things compared to every other station in the USA. Wondering what Memphis was doing to irk the Whiskey crews so bad.

When did Air Wisconsin start going to Memphis?!?

I think he means the ground handling operations, not the flying part. If AWAC runs their ground handling like we used to and PDT still does, I'd guess none of the pilots would have a clue about anything going on in that world.

He said "Memphis Jetstream operation", figured that meant Jetstream does the ground handling

Just looked at passrider looks like AWAC does do DCA-MEM

Eh... I misread that. I just did 7+ hours of flying for the first time in a long time.

You can keep your 26 hour four day. I'd have to work up to that before it wouldn't whoop my butt.

Oh my butt was whopped on the first couple legs. I was just along for the ride for the last 3/4 of it. And I even did my taxes on the overnights.

I'm doing MEM in a couple of days...I'll see if any drama goes down. Hope not though...I just have one leg to DCA and I'm done! By the way...anything to do around there, I've got like 18hrs?

Dca -mem started this month i believe. along with a lot of other flying out of dca. As far as the mem ground crew, they seemed like normal people to me. The gate agent was actually abnormally nice if anything. I feel bad for them, one the night we came in for an overnight and we didn't end up getting into 2-3am, after a ferry from ORF. sounds like normal ops to me.

It's the Regional "elite" I cannot stand. I despise going to SCE/UNV, i've had some horror stories with those 'tards.

Heh, I remember when before SCE got contracted out a couple years ago, they had so many years being damage free, I think the best station in the Airways system. I think they started back from zero very shortly after they were contracted out. Funny what the bottom bidder gets you!

Agreed. you get what you pay for. Unfortunatley us airways spends $100 to save $ 1.

That's ok, unlike Pinnacle those Jetstream rampies actually get OT.

That's good news.

Keep the feedback coming.
