Air Tran/SWA Welcome Booklet

Wow, very impressive info. The picture of the -700 cockpit kinda threw me off seeing the PFD setup with old analog style gauges. I can understand their whole standardization thing with their older 737s, but having lots of glass time myself, it's a shame to see a good glass PFD wasted away on a steam gauge display. But then again, I'm not at SWA, and their pilots are smiling with their paychecks every month! Where do I sign up?!

The EFIS/MAP formatted display is being replaced with the more traditional PFD/ND layout as part of the RNP SAAAR change this year.

SWA has gone to the boeing package now.
 
That does LOOK really nice. I'm not sure I trust the source though.

I'm sure they're not lying about anything, but I'm also confident that they picked out some of the best pairings to use as examples. Overall, they are a very efficient airline, though, and that's reflected in their pairings.
