Air Safety....again

[popaviator]

I know this was posted in another section of the forums, but I thought I'd re-post in the GT section for all to see. I can't believe this happened again...

Geez, I didn't even know they had started operations at GYI yet. What a shame.

[Jacob Wall]

$2 million dollars owed by two students? lolwut

[Patrick]

Dee at work again.

[esa17]

When will these people learn to put their money in escrow if they want to take out such a large loan?

[SteveC]

$2 million dollars owed by two students? lolwut

I think you misunderstood. "...two biggest Chinese clients" would not be the same as two students.

HUGE surprise

[at1024]

that's a lot of excitement for my hometown :guns:

Disclamer: I think what was done to these people was horrible.

What were these people thinking. They followed this operation from Glendale AZ, where they were shafted, so they could get just as shafted in TX? Fool me once..........................

[Douglas]

apparently you can get fooled again.

[skibum8484]

shocking news, hahaha. Dee (the used car salesman) has screwed more people out of money. I worked for him at ASFA @GEU for way to long, and he temporarily suspended operations 6 times in 10 months, but still doesn't think that he doesn't belong in the indusry.

One of my old co workers said it best when he quit. "The aviation industry will be better off when you are finally forced out"

[CoffeeIcePapers]

There is a hilarious/sad thread on ripoffreport.com about these people. It is a Chinese student complaining in broken English, then the owner starts backpeddling. Good for a laugh/cry.

I thought they lost their contract when they had an accident over the summer.

[ozziecat35]

That didn't take long....Good riddance....Biggest mistake of my life was giving that school even 1 dime.

Very good read on ripoff report. I had thought about picking up a few extra dollars by hiring on as a cfi over there when they first opened until I ran across some of those posts on ripoff report. Kind of glad I didn't. I guess I could have been on the news though! I do believe GYI would be a great place for a well established flight school to open a branch however.
