Air Canada Passenger Flips Out

Whoa! Wonder if he was a bit unbalanced or just was afraid to fly. Either way....kudos to the 2 men who kept him in his seat and away from everyone else.

I think he was unbalanced. He also sounded like he may be mentally challenged. That would stink to be randomly paired next to that guy.

Watch that video again rookie, homey may be on one of your future flight;):nana2::rawk:

Flight from hell! - I guess they need to train the flight attendants now days to inject a little thorazine or something...jeeze

...did he say "eat me?"

Beat me or shoot me, was how I heard it.

The two guys were definately law enforcement of some type. He was restrained with a zip-tie. I'm surprised he didn't get the $@%^ beat out of him when he got loose from the zip tie. The one guy tried to tighten them at some point, then he gets one hand loose and they're holding him with some sort of chokehold or something. What they SHOULD'VE done at that point IMO is put him face down on the floor and restrain him again, this time hands behind his back with the zip-ties tight enough that they're ALMOST cutting the skin.

Edit: Now that I think about it, he should've been re-restrained with the zip-ties CUTTING his skin. After all, at that point he'd already demonstrated a willingness to continue to struggle and break free from his restraints, thereby increasing the risk he posed to the flight. We didn't get to see what happened at the outset that caused him to be restrained in the first place....

From what he was saying, I'm going to take a wild guess and say he has a fear of flying, so he tried drinking beforehand, but its gone slightly wrong :P

Could have been suffering from a mental illness or maybe in custody of law enforcement or both. Looks that way at least but who really knows. If someone is mentally challenged and ''flippin out'' it's really a sad thing to witness first hand.
