Yeah but the train doesnt sneak up you, it runs on tracks - you know where it can goGranted, but stand next to one running at full blower and it’s generally a WTF moment.
Yup. The train is always right, here.Yeah but the train doesnt sneak up you, it runs on tracks - you know where it can go.
Not always true. Sometimes they're off the rails.Yeah but the train doesnt sneak up you, it runs on tracks - you know where it can go

That was an interesting time. I think other work groups were legitimately scared of how close to the edge NW was in the post 9/11 environment and were afraid to shut the airline down. AFA membership allegedly voted not to cross the AMFA picket lines, but AFA leadership was hesitant to make public their results, from what I understand. Granted the AMFA folks flew too close to the Sun. They shouldn’t have had to live with 80% of their work being outsourced, but they could have relented on things like AMTs being required for non-technical jobs.I’d say easily 90% of my seniority list couldn’t miss two paychecks.
I mean, the guy who says “a person hit the brightline” kinda has a point. Trains don’t exactly leap out of nowhere to snatch an unsuspecting victim. Like when people act shocked about someone getting mauled by a bear/shark/gator
