You should have heard ramp control get all aggro when I prounced, by mistake GEETK as "Geek Tech" and not "Gee Tech". Calm down LeRoy!

Whoever made up those fix names must have loved college football. Seems to me Geek Tech isn't too far off though.

I like to hear the out of towners pronounce FUTBL. I even heard one dude say, "Foxtrot, Uniform..." The controller said, "Football, got it sir!"

On Superbowl Sunday we flew from ATL-PHL. Tower asked for first fix and I told him we were going to FTBOL (or whatever it is) on Superbowl Sunday. He didn't see the humor. Those folks in GA sure love them DAWGS.
