Pilot and A Half (for now
I took and passed the AGI test last week. I now just have to get whole of the FSDO and find a time to go there. This week I'm teaching aviation camp. :)
 
Congrats! All you have to do is take the written and then go down to the FSDO to get your certificate correct? I'm working on my CFI but would you recommend getting the AGI/IGI too? Sorry to hijack the thread! Congrats again!

You need FOI too, but I'll get it waived for being a teacher. AGI and CFI are basically the same test. If you may want to do Goldseal take it. I'm not anywhere near CFI or I would have taken it at the same time.
 
Yea I already took the FOI and I was just wondering if it was worth it or not to go ahead and get the ground instructor thing even though i'll be a CFI anyways! thanks
 
I would get it for the same reason I got into gliders and get a seaplane rating. It something to set your application apart from others.
 
AGI IACRA Application

Hah...Applying for AGI!

I applied for AGI certificate and never received it till now! Read my post here [click]

I went to FSDO to clarify and it is coming to four months.

IACRA system is real slow, freaking slow! :mad:

I already did an application in IACRA so it shouldn't take too long, I hope
