I recently heard that for the AFOQT for the pilot score they are taking away the Electrical Mazse portion of the test...can anyone confirm or deny this?
Also I got a pretty good grip on the Aviation Info, Table Reading, Block Counting, Instrument Comprehension.
The problem areas that I am worried about are the Scale Reading and Verbal Analogies....how does someone study for the Verbal Analogies? I know if I study the AFOQT test booklet (I have the Arco 4th Edition test booklet) I will know those word meanings, but how else can you prepare for this? Is there something else I should do, should I grab a dictionary and learn the meaning of different words? How much different is the Analogies on the practice test compared to the actual tests? Any clue on how to better prepare for the scale reading too?
I know I still got a little studing to do on the General Science portion (UGH!!) and the Math and Arithmetic Reasoning (Double UGH!!) but nevertheless I also want to just as good on all the portions as well
I am looking to make the cut off for the Jan board, and need to have my packet submitted before December 14th.
Thanks again for the help
