AFOQT Out of the Way!

Thanks for all your help you guys. I've been visiting a few units and will be putting in all of my packets in the next week or two. So far I've heard good things - hopefully I'll follow all of you guys to UPT!

Mountainwaves - check with the unit you took the test at. There's no way it should be taking that long.

I know everyone is sworn to secrecy about the TBAS, but do you guys have any suggestions about how to best prepare for it? I'm thinking just go fly.

I dont even think Flying will help you. I took mine yesterday, and I hadnt flown in 6 months. I havent even been doing anything aviation related since december, except fly as a passenger a couple times, and i did alright.

The best advice i would give is just take the test and not get flustered at how you're doing. I think the reality is, there is no way to keep it green the whole time. Dont worry about how you are doing vs. how the others that might have done on the test before you. Just do your best and think, everyone else was probably this bad at it too. haha.

Good luck, Justin.
