I apolgise if it has been posted before, or is in the wrong forum.

Well, I've been hearing for a while that Aeropelican were going to buy a Metro and sell of their two Twotters after the closure of Belmont Airport In NSW, Australia.

Was quite happy, but wasn't expecting anything, Today I Was just searching through the CASA Database for an aircraft when this came Up:

While hated by many, I am very fond of Metro's (Whether II, III or 23) and despite from what I have seen their 'bad reputation', Most regional airlines in Australia feature at least one in their fleet.

Bad reputation? You mean the lovable "San Antonio Sewer Pipe" nickname has crossed the ocean to Australia?

, Not really nicknames such as that, Just PAX Loathing the Pilots and stupid cramped 'Pencil Planes'. I guess I could empathise being stuck in a metro for 5 hours with 4 stops to get to my home town of Whoop Whoop in the Blazing heat of Queensland.

Passengers take it out on the Pilot's.

I think what really hurt the 'liners reputation was the time a passenger was seated in one of the seats between the props and after a couple of hours his head just exploded like an over-ripe melon.

(Have you been taking funny pills? That's at least the second time in two days I've laughed out loud at one of your posts.)

No, but I did spend a couple on hours on the seat between the props on a metroliner. After which I made the following comments: "Huh? What? Is my head bleeding? Huh? What?"
