Aerial Mapping Pilot(temporary)

Desert Wind Air Service looking for a backup pilot WITH Pictometry Camera rig experience. Needed December 17th 2010 through January 5th 2011. Could lead to permanent position. Will also consider a pilot without Pictometry rig experience who lives in the Denver Metro area and has Commercial/Instrument and 500+ total time.

Email resume and cover letter to DWASresume@pilotbry.com

For clarification: The 500tt is not negotiable - insurance thing. Also - while training would likely take place in Denver, the aircraft may, and probably will be deployed to different cities(unknown at this time) meaning a Denver resident would not necessarily be home for the holidays. I am still looking for Pictometry rig experience as the first criteria.

At this point I am only interested in resumes from pilots with aerial mapping experience - preferably with the Pictometry camera rig. I know there are a lot of good pilots out there looking for work, willing to learn and willing to relocate but please don't send a resume right now if you do not have prior aerial mapping experience. I'm sorry folks, I got a ton of resumes and I just simply don't have time to respond to them all now :(

Sounds like someone's taking a vacation and doesn't have a vacation pilot planed for. Everyone with the company should get a little vacation and just have someone airlined around. That way your pilots don't dread being in hotels all the time and have something to look forward to rather than just the end of the season when everyone is burnt out from 7-9 hr days every day...

I'll be sure and forward those suggestions to the man who writes the checks. Maybe he'll double our salaries too.

Wow.

Your pilots could use a pay raise from what I heard. Just saying what I heard from running into them.:yup::popcorn:

Since all of our pilots from last year wanted to return this year(except one who joined the military), it would seem you aren't able to figure out when someone is blowing off steam or pulling your leg. In my opinion all of my pilots and most pilots in general deserve more money but hey, a big round of applause to you for hijacking a thread dedicated to job openings in order to trash my company with what I'm sure you consider some really brilliant wise-ass remarks.

I'd take a 7-9 hr day every day, any day. It's called work, and some people are willing to do it.

I do it too, I actually have longer days now that my work calls for it. The thing I'm talking about is being paid accordingly. I know what picto is all about and then some. Hence the comments.
