Adulting is hard

That can't possibly be true since dogs are better than the vast majority of humans.
Dogs can't appreciate PJ Masks full. My daughter is already fighting crime ans trying to fly with a cape a 3. Other than pooping on the ground while lookong at you for cues as the lookout, what does your dog do? (Im being absurd for laughs)
And more environmentally friendly too!
Wait until humans engineer a negative carbon footprint. Environmental engineering through experimentation.

Yeah, I’m sure that’s right around the corner.

That being said, I don’t want to derail this thread. I don’t think that’s fair to @bLizZuE.

Congrats man, and I honestly do think it’s good when people like you that are obviously caring, financially well off, and so on are having kids. It balances out the idiots having kids, so that we can stave off Idiocracy for a bit longer!

It’s interesting- of my close group of friends that I’ve known for 15+ years (about 8 people) there are 8 undergrad degrees, 3 JD’s, 2 PHD’s, 1 MD and at least a half dozen Masters degrees. Only 4 are married and 2 have kids. It’s not a very inspiring trend.

Maybe you just have really smart friends! ;)

To the contrary, I’d say it’s incredibly inspiring!

Wife is a Duke MBA grad and I went to college on the internet

Heads up this works with kids too...sometimes at least.

No way. Would much rather have that crowd having children as opposed to the "idiocracy" crowd. There isn't any way we can prevent the idiots from procreating so our only chance is to dilute it.

Eh, probably true. I’d like to see an overall reduction in the rate of population growth, but you’re right that the idiots keep breeding while the intelligent do not.

Yea, but that's the best opportunity to try out different personalities four days at a time.

Congrats on the kiddo!
My favorite part of their childhood was when they finally moved out! Haha! Kidding! (Not kidding.)
