Accredited or not accredited flight school?

Hi guys,

I need to know what is the real difference between an accredited and not accredited flight school.

I am thinking of studying towards a BS degree after flight training, maybe at Utah Valley University.

Can I do the same if I go to a normal FBO like Skymates in Arlington or do I have to learn to fly at an accredited flight school i.e. Phoenix East Aviation or Aerosim.

No need for an accredited school. They only need that to be part of an college program. Most aeronautical universities will give you credits for the ratings you have.
 
Accreditation for the college degree - yes. Accreditation for flight training - not needed.
 
Check community colleges with fight programs, work towards your degree on the cheap comparably. No need for accreditation on the school side.
