I was thinking the other day and was wondering this. We all know there are no more moving expenses provided by the airlines when you switch airlines. I have heard rumors about some airlines offering a month in a hotel to help settle you in and whatnot. I was just curious as to if this is true. If you don't feel comfortable posting it on here you can pm me as well. We all know switching jobs and moving isn't easy but I'm curious to see if the rumors are true. This is in reference to being hired. If I didn't make that clear.

You're mostly on your own unless the company itself is moving and then they might extend the olive branch to new hires.

That being said, my company did buy me a hotel room the night I arrived and others got up to a week in hotels or other accommodation..

So then you could say it's a case by case situation.

I've heard UA does offer relocation assistance lately. When I was at CO, we got some assistance but not a full paid move. One regional airline I got hired by did also, but that went away after the union contract was ratified. It's pretty rare in the industry to get any assistance. I think FedEx offers it, but they're the only other ones I've heard of that do.

Hawaiian have been known to offer a one way, space available trip from any one of their known routes, which comes with complimentary inflight episodes of Hawaii Five-0 and a complimentary adult beverage.

UAL does not offer relocation packages to it's dispatchers anymore. But the DSC's still qualify for it because they are deemed "Management" level.
