Yeah you can. I've seen gate agents do it. I'm convinced that they bought everyone of them left in existence, or pay a kid to overhaul them from the stack of "waiting for refurb" printers. They'll run those printers until they can't get paper/parts/ink anymore. But as far as I'm concerned, it's the best damn paper ever for flight plans to be printed on.

I haven't worked at the airport in over two years and I still have nightmares about fixing those things. I always thought it somewhat hilarious that we had the ability to print our connection carrier's releases on the laser printer but mainline was stuck with the 30ft long printout from these things.
