Academy Completion Dates

Does anyone know how to look up their last day in OKC? It does not specify on the FOL and I can look up the day my basics class starts and ends of the FAA website, but I don’t know the exact course names you take after or their sequence to determine a final class date.

Don't know if you're Enroute, Terminal, or TRACON, but locate your class and it should have an end date.

Thank you for the link, I start ATC Basics for Enroute on 8/20 and I have been using the catalog on the link, but after ATC Basics there are lots of Enroute classes like EN ROUTE AUTOMATION MODERNIZATION, ENROUTE INFORMATION DISPLAY SYSTEM-SPECIAL OPERATIONS TRAINING, INITIAL EN ROUTE AND USER REQUEST EVALUATION TOOL (URET) TRAINING ect… so I am trying to figure which one is last so I can look up that final completion date.

Wish I could help more, but I'm clueless when it comes to enroute. I do believe it depends on your facility, but I'm not 100% sure. Hopefully someone here can help ya.

When I booked my housing through the credit card the FAA changed my reservation dates to:

Auth. Check-In: 8/4/09

Auth. Check-Out: 12/12/09

So I guess booking through the credit card is a roundabout way of finding out!

On my FOL it said when my basic course started and also when my tower class started. Check your FOL becuase if you ahve that info then you can look up the class online and see when it ends.

Im in the 8/20 class, too. I remember seeing somewhere that the end date was 12-29. I don't remember where I saw that, though.

It is the one with URET, unless you are going to a center that doesn't use URET yet. There are two guys in my basics class that are going to Guam (which is actually a CENRAP) that will be leaving about 10 days earlier than the rest of us because they don't use URET there.

Thank you, I am going to ZOB so and I am almost sure they have URET so I can look it up based on that, the 12/29 date from the previous poster makes sense as well, thanks again.

I got my FOL today. It states the beginning dates for classes. You can look up the end dates on the academy website.

Yea we'll have URET there. If it helps my first day was 05/28 and my last will be 10/01

In your figuring of days in class, you need to account for days the academy with be closed such as Labor Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, etc.

My husband started on December 29, 2008 and finished on May 4, 2009. It seems on paper longer because he had 3 days weekends 2 times and he also had New Years off...so 3 days total. Also, some in my husbands class started on December 29, 2008 and ended on May 5, 2009. They spent 1 day in CAMI after finishing basics.
