AA Restructuring

I’m hearing 4% of management and support staff will be cut this week. Already had some people I know walked out of the building with others who were out of the office getting a call to break the news. Also heard a rumor that only low- and mid-level management have been cut so far but it will start working its way up the chain over the course of the week. Those let go should keep their pay and benefits through the end of the year.

That sucks. I'm at a network planning conference right now and will be meeting with AA folks this morning.

Apparently the rumor mill was correct, my wife’s office (another large fortune 50 company) usually gets a swath of resume from AA mid managers/analyst types every time this happens.

At least a 1/4 have AA roles in their resumes currently in the Pricing analyst side.
