AA Hiring

I’ve heard that there are very high workload issues. Is this in order to reduce the workload or to replace some retirements? Or both?

No they haven't. Everything AA is reactionary.

There are still workload issues, not just in number of releases but how the desks are set up and frankly management simply does not care about our roles or the product we put out. You'll be expected to be a release monkey just pounding them out.

What is the hiring process like at AA? Video interview? Dispatch knowledge tests? Personality tests? Group interview? Individual interview? Each major seems to have their own formula.

I didn’t apply last time but I think I remember them prefering 2 years experience plus a bachelors or 5 years experience. Does that sound about right to anybody?

If its like the last round of hiring, it will be interviews in groups of two or three with one manager, one dispatcher doing the interviews. There will be a dispatch knowledge test followed by questions that will probably be a mix of HR and technical.
