Well, she did tell that one controller she couldn't read her own writing on the ATIS code. Maybe she got an extra 0 in there.I’m more bothered by the fact that she didn’t know her flight number. If I heard American ten thousand six one more time…..
I had a ramp agent in YYZ one night ask me, "Why does every pilot write numbers on that little piece of paper on your wheel?" I replied, "That's our flight number and that's the only way we remember!"
The Wire AND Militant Grammarianism? You're lucky I'm straight.

My ex accused me of having a "touch of the gay" because I was angry about coming home to two weeks-worth of dishes stacked in the sink, but I still think spending money on clothing not from Wal-Mart is ludicrously profligate, show-tunes are culturally equivalent to comic-books, and dourly frown at any public expression of joy. ISH, max. Although who doesn't love the Wizard of Oz and those *adorable* slippers? But that hot tub though. A little ‘taste of Riddle’.![]()

NGL - our flight number is on the FCP, right by the transponder code, in front of my face.
But there are some flight numbers that I just. Cannot. Say. Smoothly on the radio. I’m not the greatest stick and rudder guy in the world but my radio work and phraseology is solid and for some strange-ass reason, certain numbers elude me.
