Do they still do "regional flying" international? Did they ever? That would be my guess.

This paint scheme still only looks good on the ERJs to me.

It is the Airbus registration. It hasnt been delivered so it doesn't have an American registration. You will notice Boeing does the same thing.

Clicked on this expecting to see the old livery for some reason. I always thought'd it would be sort of interesting to see some newer Airbii in the American scheme, but with this it really isn't... (/a.net rant)

I'm not sure if it is the sharklets, the paint job or all the grey in the picture but the airplane just looks awkward to me. It reminds me of the awkward penguin memes out there.

AA has 11 stripes on the tail for the airplane knowing full well if the pilots forget to ask for a wind check that both pilots will provide an additional stripe in their underwear from the resulting landing.
