AA 777 experience?

In December i'm flying Kennedy-Heathrow in an American Airlines 777 (Coach 24A/Window). Hows American, their coach class and the 777 for international travel? Am I in for a world of hell, or could this just turn out to be ok?

I have flown the 777 out of RDU to Gatwick and had a good experience. American CSR's can be quite testy, but the actual crews on board have always been great when I have flown.

If you're in an "A" seat, you'll be fine :) It's when you're in the middle seat in the center section that it sucks.

The legroom isn't especially generous.

Check seatguru.com for specifics about lav location, etc.

As a sidebar, AA also does cripple 7 service ORD-DFW if you get a chance. Nothing like flying a very lightly loaded 7 with those powerful engines!

Only lightly loaded unless something earlier has cxld or there's a boatload of non-revs trying to get out! I've ridden that ride wide open and I've been stuck in the middle seat in the waaaaay back with every seat full. (When I was teaching down there I'd commute back on that flight.)

the weight of 300 people vs 10 people isnt that much considering the amount of fuel that wont be on board an ord-dfw flight vs a transoceanic flight. i imagine the cargo loads domestic would be quite a bit less also.
