Jumpseat view. Anyway they knew there was a problem before landing roll? Whats up with the guy at 4:40? Good job on the crews part.

As they're egressing the aircraft, you can hear the first ARFF truck powering up its pump and applying foam, about 50 seconds post-impact, just as it sounds like they're heading down the slide.

The crew reported some problems with the gear and flew by the tower for visual confirmation that it was down. The gear just gave out during landing roll. As one who was about to take the runway for takeoff while they were on landing roll, I can tell you it was just an aircraft accident, not an attack. I can also tell you that the runway is in good condition

Good condition runway now. A lot better than when it was a half a runway width-wise, and half the length, when we first came in there with our A-10s 9 years ago. Was truly a wild-west base then, rather than the "Langley east" base its become now.
