The WN plane that looks like it's tailstriking is off of 1L and against 1R in the pic. The further airplane, the -300, is actually off that runway. You can see 1L at the bottom of the pic.
Thanks dude, I still didn't edit the shots I took at DVO with you and Susan haha, they came out really good.
Maybe. Either way, I'm going to start selling stuff.I wonder if passengers would buy shots like those if they were on those flights?
Being a hopeless nerd, I can tell by the shape, it is different. Other hints are the tail, nose, smaller winglets, a couple things...How can anyone tell the difference between a 737-300 and 700 with those winglets? Looks identical to me.
Did you read that somewhere or realize it?Being a hopeless nerd, I can tell by the shape, it is different. Other hints are the tail, nose, smaller winglets, a couple things...
But here is my nerd trick of the day. Easiest way to tell a Southwest NG from a 733 with winglets? The flap canoes are painted solid red on the -700s, and unpainted on the -300s. This trick is only for Southwest.
I read it in Airliners magazine in like 97 before I saw a 737NG for the first time. It's so the ground crew can quickly recognize the difference between a -300/500 and -700. This was pre-winglets.Did you read that somewhere or realize it?

I work in the ramp tower in T2, the tower below the FAA tower. If you want a gear up of 565, give me a nice early rotation off 1L and I'd be more than happy to do that for you.Great pics, dude. You work in terminal 3? I'll have to come find you one of these days.
And if you have a picture of 565SW with the gear up, I'd be willing pay.

I might have a pic of it off the 28s with the wheels up...I'll look through my hard drive later.
Gives me something to do on the slow night shift Friday. I'll bring my hard drive and see what I can find. Otherwise if you ever want a pic of you flying just PM me, I've done it for quite a few members here, even some lurkers.Don't put in too much effort! But if you happen across one let me know. She took my Broginity.![]()
Dude, I can make you a home burger 3X as good as Five Guys.
Five Guys is "valhalla" for people that can't grill.
That you distinguish "grilling" from "barbecuing / smoking" speaks volumes to your culinary knowledge.
Sounds authentic. That Jets plane is broken down outside my office right now.
These are great pics Chasen. I love flying in and out of SFO. The Bay area is just gorgeous, the international presence at SFO is always very interesting, and SFO to me is like a "Big" small airport. I've flown out of there so many time over the past three years that it's super familiar, comfortable, and predictable. But I also hate SFO with a passion during flow days. I truly do both love and hate it.
I lol'd.![]()
Don't they know they shouldn't use water on an electrical fire?
