Thanks man!Yup, they are terrific
That's the only time I've seen Asiana Cargo here in the daylight in about 2 years, got very lucky that worked out. Before that shot, I waited camera in hand everytime the Asiana 777 would take off, but the crews always made sure to rotate well before they were near the wreckage. Asiana Cargo usually rotates pretty early as well when it departs at 3AM or so most nights. But not this time. I'll bet all eyes in the cockpit were glancing out the window at that point. I came to work the next day and the wreckage was almost totally scrapped.http://farm4.staticflickr.com/3801/10552704635_880365ee7c_z.jpg
This is the one that stuck out for me.
Thanks! Tell that to Airliners and Jetphotos.net. I stopped uploading to Jetphotos when I had 125 photos rejected in a row. Average 3,000 hits per photo on their site and now I can't get a single shot on there, go figure.Wow some of these are really, really good pictures.
Southwest and Alaska often raise the gear very quickly, makes for cool shots. The Southwest Formation is great. Looks like the far aircraft's gear are already in transit.

They don't like it when people think outside the box and use composition or don't write down the tail number.. Most of the current screeners are grumpy no-nonsense European guys who are mad with the "power" they have. I'm actually friends with a few of the screeners on Jetphotos who are cool guys, but they claim they never get my shots. Of course, I can't upload to Airliners.net anymore after I attached a "self portrait" to an e-mail regarding the 3rd revision a snarky screener wanted me to make to an Asiana crash pic. They're crazy, some of yours are amazing, especially the silhouettes and the 75 turning left; I've never had a shot approved on a-net, and like 1/4 are accepted to a-p....
The food is awesome for sure. The rigitoni pasta at Willow Creek across from 70 is the best airport meal I've ever had. The problem with the food at SFO is its so good, you don't care how expensive it is. Then you realize you've spent $60 in 4 days on your lunch breaks lol.I miss SFO, I've been hubbed out of there with two airlines.
It still has the best food of any airport in the world. PDX is the 2nd.
