Great photos man!

If you're on the "Bro", watch out for Bumblebee. And don't challenge him in karaoke!

It's kinda funny. I guess there at Skywest yall refer to the E120 as the "Bro". At Continental Express (later XJT) we called it the "Brazilldo". Then, of course, we also had the "Mighty Beech", the "Sky Pig", and the "Taco Rocket".

Thanks guys.

Nice pictures.

Is the 120 all dials?

Almost 60% are six pack instruments FIS. About 40% I think are EFIS with glass AI and HSI's.

The EFIS are much ergonomical for approaches and flying in the weather. The heading and NAV controls are near the throttles, instead of having to reach up to actual instrument. But they have lower outside air temp limits compared to the FIS, limiting the plane a few days each summer in hot cities such as palm springs.

I've never heard all those names Capt. Caucasian, I'll throw them in my back pocket for future use.

The traffic line-up was in SFO for rwy 28s. Not every common to get that much traffic on the ground there. Usually tower gets you off the ground fast, but coming in, is a whole different story.

I've always thought the bro was a damn sexy airplane. Is there a GA-version of it? Seems like it would compete nicely with a King Air, but I don't know anything about it.

It's a lot bigger and heavier than a king air (more $$)

Much bigger, to the point that they're not comparable in most ways. The Bro is a 34 seat turboprop, where even the largest King Air (the 1900D) only seats 19.

Also, who in their right mind would buy a personal airplane with that stupid yoke the -120 and -145's have!? I never got really used to the thing, to tell you the truth. In my mind it's only of the only serious drawbacks to either aircraft.

That's so funny how perceptions can change between person to person. Everyone else I've talked to that has EMB time loves that rams horn. What didn't you like about it specifically? Anything come to mind or was it just akward in general?

PS
To the OP: Absolutely amazing pictures man. Well done!

Point and shoot for most of them. 15mm for the panel close-up.

I beleive Nascar has a few emb120's to shuttle their people around. Other than that, I don't know of any in a corporate configuration. The parts are expensive and hard to get ahold of.

There are a handful of other things that pilots complain about on these planes (no app plate holder for one), but I have never heard the yoke to be one of them. All the guys I fly with, including myself love the "ram horns".

Ah, didn't know that about the size. In pics, it looks smaller.

Too bad I'll likely never get to fly one. :(
