A tough question...

Hello all!!

I love aviation with all of my heart. Nothing makes me smile more than defying gravity; it is my passion.

But I do have other passions--one being the arts. I love acting and performing. I'm one of those theatre bums.

My question to you is how do you balance your life if you have more than one burning passion, especially with aviation??

I thought this could be an interesting discussion.

I meant how does one divide one's time between the two passions. And I wasn't being specific towards theatre; I can act, but I'm not that good :)

I divide my time between more than two. Spend time doing what you like - aviation does not need to consume your life. If it does, you will get sick of it pretty quickly
 
There is plenty of time in the day to dedicate to both - life is a balance, right now I juggle work, school, being a husband and trying to fulfill my hobbies - flying and horses. The horses are very easy, I live in Saratoga Springs, during the summer I can go on a run and see the top 10 horses in the country! I have joined the local gliding with hopes to get my flying kicks - unfortunately with being so busy I haven't been down there much!

I think they have a cream for that
 
1. Don't get married
2. Don't reprocreate aka kids.... get a kitten

The two big killers of free time. That should give you enough time to enjoy your hobbies and flying. :D

:yeahthat: Plus, more money to go towards your hobbies such as airplanes, or guns, or music... instead of silly flowers, expensive dinners, dresses and diapers.

or condoms, since you won't be needing them (no dinners, no flowers). Unless of course you keep "escorts" in your budget :eek:
