A Running ATP experience thread

Completed my Crew XC phase yesterday. Down and back to Smyrna, TN. I actually had to fly both legs since I had a teeny bit more XC time to log than the other guy. Uneventful flights, Saw about 2,000 Nissans on the ramp due to some recall, that was pretty interesting. About 6.1 in the book for the day. On to CMEL stuff!

Weather in Chicago sucks in the winter, so not too much flying...been doing some sims to hit the 50 hr mark there and we were able to fly on New Year's Eve and go do some CMEL maneuvers. I have about 16 hours in the plane before my ride, so it'll be a lot of steep turns and VMC Demos from here on out. Got to do a full feather/secure again, always cool to look out at the prop when you know it should be running.

You’re telling me! I'm training for my PPL at Chicago Executive and the weather is driving me nuts. I was thinking about the 90-day program at an Arizona location but I'm kind of iffy about being trained by someone who just recently passed the program.

Chris728 -

Who do you fly with out of PWK? I'm currently doing my ME training out of PWK.

Peace.

I've been training at Boraam Aviation and started in November. Really nice place, great prices, experienced instructor. The only negative is the weather changing every five minutes.
