A question for all NJ pilots

I called Lincoln Park Aviation (again), and he said to me that Aero Safety Training is I think number 49 in line for the Skycatcher and it'll come by November. Don't know about Air Fleet Training Systems Skycatcher though (I think the receptionist last time told me it may be in June but she isn't sure about it I can tell).

I wait... and wait... and wait... and... wait. :(

You can talk with Royal Karina Air Service at TTN. The new owner is looking at getting into the LSA market.

The SkyCatcher production is on hold "Indefinitely, pending production issues". I guess the supply chain has a few links either missing or crumpled.

I'm guessing that you shouldn't plan on flying one this year.........it is just a guess.

And I ask again, why wait... and wait... and wait... when you could be doing gliders? Its not expensive, its lots of fun, anyone can do it and it will teach you excellent basic skills which will help you zip through your LSA training once the planes start showing up. Instead of spending the summer sitting on your butt waiting, you could spend it learning to fly.

Production might be slow but two got delivered this week!! Who knows? They might come faster than my "guess".......

Darn, that's a shame. I think it's funny that Cessna has had this LSA deal going for years, and Piper decided to jump in the game 4 months ago, and is already delivering airplanes. Of the two, I'd much rather have the Piper, but that isn't going to happen soon.
