I'm still trying to figure out why they didn't hold our flight outta DTW for the extra 10 minutes it would have taken us. We were supposed to DH from AVP-DTW, then operate DTW-MEM. The flight was late getting into AVP, so we were going to get into DTW about 10 minutes after we should have been at the gate for the MEM flight. So, instead, they took us off that one, and had us DHing home on the MEM flight leaving two hours later. THEN they called us back and said scratch that, you're gonna operate that later flight instead of DH. Fine with me. I need the hours anyway. I don't mind scheduling changes during the trip, but don't mess with me getting home 2 hours later than I'm supposed to for an extra .001% on the on-time performance. It's already in the 30% realm right now, and the pilots aren't the problem. Look at your ground service crews for that.
