A little "on reserve" story telling..

Man, how long you been on reserve? I thought RSV at Pinnacle is like 3 weeks right now?

Remember what I said a few months ago about that changing at any time? Yeah, reality. :)

If you're in DTW, you might not be on reserve that long. You'll have a whole slew of different issues to deal with, though. That, and Tram's commute would suck to DTW compared to MEM.

Heh, I'm surprised scheduling didn't say "Show up at the flight. You can use the jumpseater HS, the CA's CFM and we'll loan you some Jepps. You're on your own for the underwear, though."

There are okay parts of MEM. Cross the stateline into Mississippi, and you've got good ole boys in pickup trucks to protect ya. Germantown is okay, and Cordova USED to be. It's slowly going the way of Bartlett, aka downhill fast. Plans are already in motion to move to MCO in the Kellwolf household, living in base be damned.

I am only into my 2nd month.. I think in DTW there is zero reserve.. I am based in Memphis..

Come on up to the great white north of MSP. It is getting nice and cool.....Son to be COLD.... brrrrrrrr.....

It was 42 when I was there earlier today. Felt great after triple digits in MEM not too long ago.

There are a couple more options from MCO-MEM now since Frontier and AirTran have non-stop service b/w the two. Wouldn't surprise me if NWA beefed up their service to compete. They already did with MEM-DEN. As it is, there's a couple of A320s and a 757 first thing in the morning from MCO-MEM. There's also FedEx to consider, too.

Well, rumor has it that there are 9 FO's projected to be on reserve in Memphis next month..

I am #11 from the bottom... Maaaaybee Trammy will hold a ling next month.. :)

I think odds are good you will. From what I saw, only like 27 reserve FOs system wide. Go ahead and extend me, scheduling. Just means I'll time out that much quicker. :)
