You can "train" anywhere else you'd like and it will all go in your logbook, but you won't get credit at your 141 school for anything you do outside of their syllabus. That goes for all 141 programs, not just AF. 141 programs have lower experience requirements because your training is very structured and each 141 school has its syllabus approved by their FSDO.
