Hopefully this will help a deserving candidate who can make it to Las Vegas but is seriously cash strapped.
I have been looking forward to NJC 2012 all year as the first NJC I would attend with a serious plan to get flying as a career...this progress has me leaving my longtime secure employment the week after NJC to finish up my ratings full time. Since I know I will wish I had the cash I spent getting to and staying in Vegas when I am a new, unemployed CFI I am going to save the funds and hopefully find someone who can use the the ticket this year and help mitigate the sting of the cost.
