I few movies I shot recently. Nothing too exciting, but someone might enjoy them.

Flying along in and out of the tops.

very nice!! If you have to fly a single, it doesnt get much better than that!!!! Heck, it doent get much better than that anyway. Keep posting!!

Yes it is. Its wonderful, now that they got most of the bugs worked out. When they first entered service, it was very unreliable, and had lots of bugs.

I was lucky enough to have the sales rep at OSH let us get in and mess with the systems. What a gorgeous aircraft. If only I had $4 mil laying around.

Nice vids. The PC-12 is one aircraft I don't think I'd mind flying for a living.

Swiss Masterpiece

There is a reason for the Honeywell system, they got a pretty good deal for them, Honeywell supplies avionics for their military trainers, the upgrade for the PC7 was an earlier project then the PC12NG.

They are putting Garmin, I think the G600, in the pilatus PC6

The Pilatus PC12 would be dead if it wasn't for the US, that's were 90% of the orders go, in most countries around the world it's a really limited AC, due to stupid regulations.

Pilatus would be even better if Switzerland wouldn't have such a stupid govt, the law doesn't allow Pilatus to sell any aircraft to countries that are unstable or in conflict (big ones here, like INDIA!). They had to turn down tons of orders because their clients wanted to arm the planes...

If you guys ever get a chance to go to Switzerland, go to the little town in the middle of the Alps where Pilatus has his factory, you are not going to belive the Pc12 is made there, all around the factroy there are cows and farms (smells pretty bad), the planes to taxi from the factory to the military strip have to taxi on public roads, no I'm not kidding. We have military airports with FA18 taking of from them were there is a public road crossing in the middle, usually there is a light signal you stop, the thing takes off and you cross.....we are crazy.

Pilatus is also a really good company to work for, the lowest salary there is 40k a year, and it's probably a maid.

I have heard from a few different places that the USAF has been arming the U-28's in their inventory. Do you know anything about that? Perhaps that is why they have gotten all their airplanes second hand.

And I agree with you about the aircraft being a Swiss Masterpiece. It does some amazing things. Now they need to start building a jet.....
