I'll be there! My flight gets in around 1130 on Tues. So I'm down to meet whenever. We planning on grabbing pizza ahead of time and then make the move to 9FI following that? If so, meet around 730ish for dinner and then 9 at 9FI balcony?

9FI wants 2500 minimum, plus 8.5% tax, plus 20% service, plus 10% entertainment after nine pm.

For what? To reserve the balcony? Or are we just not allowed out there w/out a reservation anymore? If we can still use it, but not reserve I'm down to just crash it.
Otherwise, holy crap...That's nuts! I'm w/ Jake, it may be time to look elsewhere.

I have a feeling that we can no longer just go up there. They must now consider it premium space and want to only cater to groups. Considering the tab last year was close to $500, $3,475 is a lot for the amount of people that usually show up.

That's pretty steep. I think it may be time to look at an alternative venue... Ghostbar in the Palms might be a less expensive alternative.
That's a little too far to go for most of us, unless your sporting for a party bus at your expense! ;)

I guess we've got to remember that for the last 6 years or so there has been a recession going on. Vegas is almost back to where it was in 2003 and 2004 so they can afford to be picky again.

I probably won't get in until 7 or 8 or I'll just catch up with people wherever they are.

We'll save you a spot at the fountain! You drink an 8 Ball ?:D

Bye bye 9FI.

Unless people feel like giving in to The Man and his corporate greed..........

You guys can just do a gradual takeover of The Heart Bar or even Yolos as an alternative.

Or hell, the casino mall just outside the inner entrance has an ABC Alkyhawl store. We could sit around the fountain like high schoolers with 40's. :)

I was thinking of Heart Bar too, that's a pretty decent space that we could easily make our own. :)

9FI is cool because it has memories and some tradition.

However, at the end of the day if the manager is deadset on telling us we need to drop what amounts to a mortgage on a upper middle-class home and isn't budging, he can kiss our entire black ass.

Plenty of places to assemble and pre-game in Las Vegas.

There is a shuttle for free from Caesars to The Palms every half hour, just took it 2 weeks ago twice, it was fine. Or splitting cabs, you are looking at about $2.50 each, drop in the bucket compared to the drink prices at Ghostbar. Not that anyplace else on the strip is particularly cheap either though.
