I am a current holder of a Medical Certificate 3rd Class. I failed to mention that I was convicted of two minor misdemeanors on my 8500-8 form (public consumption of alcohol and public urination). I didn't believe these were misdemeanors at the time of my medical examination. Do you think the FAA will revoke my medical certificate? Will they ask for records? What's the likely outcome of this situation? I was not trying to deceive anyone, I was just ignorant to the nature of my convictions. Thanks for your help.
